Captain Greg knows both.
Born and raised in Roatan, Captain Greg has spent more than 30 years on the water.
His journey began working on a small boat, where he developed his passion for the sea and gained years of hands-on experience.
He went on to pursue his professional training and become a licensed Master Captain, eventually captaining his own boat.
Today, he brings decades of experience, professional training, and firsthand knowledge of Roatan to every charter — from finding the right fishing grounds to choosing the best spots to snorkel and explore.
For Captain Greg, being on the water isn't just a job. It's a way of life.

"We booked a private charter boat trip around Roatán as a family outing, and it completely blew us away. Hands down one of the best things we’ve ever done together.
From the moment we set off, the crew made us feel like VIPs. They were warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about sharing the beauty of the island. It never felt like a scripted tour — more like being taken out by locals who genuinely wanted us to fall in love with Roatán the way they have.
The snorkeling was absolutely incredible. We’ve snorkeled in a lot of places, but the encounters here are something else — swimming alongside sharks and gliding over stingrays in crystal-clear water was an experience none of us will ever forget. The crews knew exactly where to take us for the best spots, away from the crowds.
And then there was lunch. We were treated to a spread of fresh lobster, chicken, and fried seafood — the kind of meal that somehow tastes even better when you’re out on the water with the breeze in your hair. It was generous, delicious, and felt like a real celebration.
What also surprised us was how stunning the scenery was from the water. The coastline of Roatán looks like something out of a travel magazine — lush green hills, crystal-clear turquoise water, and little hidden coves you’d never find on your own.
We stopped at Jade beach that felt Pure magic.

"Had an awesome day with Captain Greg and his first mate. We came to Roatan on a Royal Carribean Cruise and he was accommodating of our short time in port! We hired a private driver to get us to his dock and we caught a handful of fish in our short time out! He had the cooler stocked with beer, pop and water and there was ample comfortable seating for our gang of 6."
